Student Aid
Eligibility Requirements
All applicants must be pre-doctoral candidates, or post-doctorates who received their doctoral degree after June 1, 2011. Students in a Masters' Degree program and individuals who completed their doctoral degree more than two years ago are not eligible.
Financial Assistance Offered
The level of financial assistance offered will depend on the funding available by June 1, 2013. Students from the U.S. and from other countries are encouraged to apply.
Donated Time
Students are expected to assist with the general operational needs of the conference. This includes assisting with registration, poster sessions and transportation coordination. Those who volunteer will be given preference when awards are made. Please notify the
Conference Coordinator if you intend to participate.
Sponsor's Letter
This letter should not exceed one page. Please touch on the following points:
- Assessment of this student's potential capability to make substantive contributions to the field of auditory implants.
- Comment on the ability of this student to interact and benefit from the milieu of this meeting.
- Is funding pivotal to this student coming to this conference?
- What is the minimum amount of funding they need?
Applicant's Statement
This letter should not exceed one page. Please indicate the following:
- Relevance of your work to the field of auditory implants.
- Will a poster(s) be submitted with you as author or co-author?
- If so, please indicate the title(s).
- Have you been a recipient of this award in the past?
