From the Reno Airport

The closest airport to Granlibakken (54 miles, 87 km) is the Reno-Lake Tahoe International Airport (RNO).

Connecting flights to and from RNO are available from San Francisco, Los Angeles, Denver, Chicago, Seattle, Milwaukee, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City and Portland.

Granlibakken offers shuttle service to and from RNO for $90/person or $45/person for 2 or more passengers (one way). You must request shuttle service at the time of your registration and provide flight information. Granlibakken will coordinate shuttle pick-up depending on passenger arrival time so that most passengers will be sharing the shuttle at the $45 rate. From San Francisco International Airport

Charter bus service is no longer available, the bus is booked and the 4:00 bus has been cancelled. If you arrive at SFO and have not already reserved a seat on the bus, you will have to rent a car. There is no public transportation from SFO to Granlibakken.
