Welcome
Conference on Implantable Auditory Prosthesis
The Conference on Implantable Auditory Prostheses (CIAP) is a series of
biennial international research conferences on cochlear implants and
auditory brainstem implants. CIAP provides a unique forum for the
presentation and discussion of fundamental scientific research from a
diversity of basic science disciplines, as well as input from clinicians,
engineers, and technical staff. The close interaction among leading
scientific researchers from around the world facilitates the exchange of
up-to-the-minute research results.
2025 Conference on Implantable Auditory Prostheses
July 13-18, 2025
CIAP will once again be hosted at Granlibakken in
Lake Tahoe
It has been some time since we have all congregated at Granlibakken to
discuss all things of the science of implantable auditory prostheses, and we’re
very pleased to announce that we will be back together again in July 2025.
The in-person meeting will follow its traditional “Gordon-like” format over the
planned 4.5 days of the conference (July 13-18, 2025). We are truly excited
about the possibility of gathering again in person to share the latest cochlear
implant and related research developments at the premiere conference in the
field, an event providing not only the extraordinary benefits of an in-person
conference at this terrific location, but hopefully also an engaging virtual
experience for a wider audience than we have been able to include in the
past.
Details about invited speakers are provided on the Programs link.
Registration, abstract submission and information about student travel awards
are open now on the appropriate links. Information about the preliminary
conference schedule will be posted soon - stay tuned!
